What this program is

Samantha Family Notifications is a personal-use, non-commercial SMS service operated by James Rodriguez, an individual hobbyist developer. A personal AI assistant named "Samantha" sends informational text messages about children's upcoming events, schedules, and activities to a small, closed group of approximately ten pre-approved family members and caregivers.

This is not a business, marketing, fundraising, political, or commercial messaging program. There is no public signup form, no web lead form, no purchased list, and no marketing list. Recipients are added only after a direct one-to-one conversation with the account owner and a confirmed double opt-in by SMS.

Who receives messages

Invited family members and caregivers only. Examples: parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, babysitters, and other immediate caregivers personally known to the account owner.

What messages contain

Family scheduling, cancellations, reminders, and related coordination only. Examples include practice cancellations, parent-teacher conference changes, recital times, and family event reminders.

How recipients opt in (verbal CTA)

The account owner personally knows each recipient and asks for permission in person or in a private one-to-one conversation, using the following verbal script verbatim:

"I use a personal assistant named Samantha to send text reminders and schedule updates about the kids — things like practice times, cancellations, school events, and family schedule changes. It is only for family coordination, not marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. You'll get a confirmation text first, and you can reply STOP anytime."

If the recipient verbally agrees, Samantha sends the following SMS confirmation message:

"Hi, this is Samantha, your family assistant. I can send you text updates about the kids' schedules, family events, cancellations, and reminders. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply YES to confirm you want these messages. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Privacy: https://jamesrodriguez.dev/privacy Terms: https://jamesrodriguez.dev/terms"

Only recipients who reply YES are enrolled. A recipient who does not reply, or who replies anything other than YES, is not added to the program.

  3. Hi Grandma, this is Samantha. Alex's piano recital is still on for Saturday at 2:00 PM at the community center. Reply STOP to opt out.
  4. Hi Aunt Sarah, this is Samantha. The family birthday dinner has been moved to Sunday at 4:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.
  5. Samantha family notifications: msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe.

Messages do not contain embedded links, embedded phone numbers, direct lending content, or age-gated material.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message at any time, or email james@clinicalaisuccess.com. After you reply STOP you will receive one final confirmation text, and no further messages will be sent.
